Branch AGM 2022 Brings Change of Officers.

The Branch AGM took place on Tuesday 29th March 2022, at 19:30.
Due to the uncertainty with possible COVID restrictions, the meeting was held online via Zoom.

A new generation of Officers have now taken over many lead posts.

We say good bye to George Kneeshaw for all his help and leadership of the branch over the last few years as Branch Chair. Also Gordon Mason has retired from BT, but is going to bring his experience to the role of Equality & Diversity Officer. Mick Bagnall is moving from his successful lead role as the regional Openreach SPOC (Single Point of Contact) to bring his experience to the role of Branch Vice Chair.

Steve Phillips is standing down as the Branch Secretary after stepping up to the role several years ago, but is continuing as the CWU NT lead for Rivus and our Political Secretary. Tim Bond has retired from BT, but is continuing as the Financial Secretary.

The Branch welcomes Richard Abbiss as our new Branch Secretary and regional Enterprise SPOC.
Gurjit Dhillon as the new Branch Chair and regional Chair.
Gary Good is bringing his experience to the role of regional Openreach SPOC.
