After months of planning, the TUC New Deal for Workers demonstration took place on Saturday the 12th May. From 11.00am, thousands of trade union members, including a sizeable CWU contingent, descended onto the Embankment and marched to Hyde Park where speakers such as our own Dave Ward and the leader of the Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, addressed the crowds.
