Labour Party Leader & Deputy Leader Elections Ballot 2020

The 2020 Labour Party leadership election was triggered after Jeremy Corbyn announced his intention to resign as leader of the UK’s Labour Party following the party’s defeat at the 2019 general election. It is being held alongside the 2020 Labour Party deputy leadership election.

If you are a member of the labour party you will have by now, received a ballot in order to vote for Labour’s leader and deputy leader.

Our Secretary had the pleasure to  personally meet and speak  to Rosena last weekend and can strongly recommend her as great candidate who is really down to earth. She was until she became MP an A&E Doctor.

Election Timeline.

24 February: Labour Party members start receiving postal ballots and online voting forms
2 April: Voting closes at midday.
4 April: Result of the membership ballot announced.
Winning candidate declared the new Leader of the Labour Party and becomes Leader of the Opposition.
